Day 2 beginner kitesurf course. The next step in your kitesurf journey having completed our day 1 kitesurf course. Learn some more progressive body drags and focus on learning how to water-start and ride with the board.
WHATS COVERED IN THIS COURSE
IKO LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE
F - Enter and exit the water while controlling the kite, Water relaunch
G - Side body-drag with 2 hands, Body-drag with power strokes on both sides
H - Body-drag upwind, Body-drag with board, Self-rescue and pack down discovery
I - R.O.W Rules introduction, Steady-pull, Water-start
IKO LEVEL 3 - INDEPENDANT
J - Controlled stop, Control of riding speed by edging
K - Riding upwind
L - Sliding transitions
M - Toe-side riding, Toe-side turn
N - Self-launching, Self-rescue and pack down in deep water
We are very fortunate to have a wide selection of kitesurf beaches available in the local area.
Our home spot is Pevensey Bay and this is where we will try to run the majority of our lessons from, however If the wind direction/wind speed is better at a different beach then we will drive to that location. Therefore we are able to provide you with the best conditions on the day in order to maximise progression!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
All kitesurf equipment is included in the cost of the course. Including: Helmet, Kitesurf harness, Buoyancy aid, Kites etc.
We do not provide wetsuits and this is something which you must have in order to participate in this kitesurf course.
If you do not already own a wetsuit, they can be purchased directly from our shop on the day of your kite course. We stock a comprehensive range of wetsuits from entry-level all the way through to the leading brands in our industry.
By the end of the day 2 kitesurf course the average skills achieved is up to level 3J. However the lesson will be tailored to your progress and level.
