Terms & Conditions

Lessons & Rentals:

  • Delivering the highest level of instruction is our utmost priority at Be-Rad Watersports. Due to the nature of the sports, we specialise in, weather and safety are key elements which need to be considered. 

  • Be-Rad Watersports always operates with safety as our priority, we reserve the right to cease any activity if safety is compromised at any time.

  • Bookings are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • All lessons & rentals are weather dependent, having booked an activity the go-ahead will be given by phone, SMS or email one day before the activity is scheduled to begin, (based on the weather forecast).

  • Should the forecast be uncertain, customers will be notified, and we’ll make dynamic decisions on the day of activity.

  • If the weather forecast is unsuitable for a productive activity, we'll cancel the lesson/rental and offer alternative dates for rescheduling, alternatively a credit note.

  • Should a pre-booked activity be cancelled from our end due to adverse weather or operational issues we'll offer an alternative date or a credit note.

  • Activities started, but unfinished due to changing weather will be offered the remaining lost time as a credit.

  • Students should arrive at least thirty minutes early for their activity. Whilst Be-Rad Watersports try to be flexible, we cannot guarantee to make up lost time due to customer lateness.

  • We reserve the right to deny or cancel SUP rental at any time.

  • Persons not being responsible for themselves, others or the equipment, will be issued warnings. If undesirable behaviour continues we may cancel a rental with no refund at any time.

  • Be-Rad Watersports and our staff operate within our recognised/governing bodies, the IKO (International kiteboarding organisation) BSUPA (British stand up paddle association) and IWO (international wingfoil organisation). In addition to our own risk assessments and procedures, carrying full third party liability insurance cover. Our decisions on safety and activities will be made following their rules and guidelines.

  • Participants of all activities must be aware of the potential dangers, notify us of any relevant medical considerations and participate in the sports entirely at their own risk.

  • All participants must be able to swim a minimum of 50 meters unattended.

  • Any participants under the age of 18 years old must be supervised by a parent/legal guardian for the duration of their rental.

  • All students grant permission for Be-Rad Watersports to take and post photos during kitesurf, Paddleboard, and Wingfoil lessons on social media and internet platforms.

  • The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

Customer Cancellations:

  • Customer cancellations made 72hrs prior to the activity start time will be offered an alternate date, full credit voucher or full refund.

  • Customer cancellations made within 72hrs of the activity start time will incur a 25% fee.

  • Customer cancellations made within 48hrs of the activity start time will incur a 50% fee.

  • Customer cancellations made within 24hrs of the activity start time will incur a 100% fee.

  • Credit vouchers issued will be valid for twelve months from the original activity date.

  • Refunds on bookings made online will be processed through the same software, this can take up to seven days to complete.


Damaged Equipment:

  • Should Be-Rad Watersports equipment become damaged during the course of a lesson/rental, the customer will be charged the cost of repair to the kite, bar/lines, board, etc.

  • Should Be-Rad Watersports equipment become damaged due negligence and/or malicious acts, the customer will be charged the full replacement value.



  • Vouchers are valid for twelve months. The service and ownership may be changed with written notice.

  • Vouchers may also be used to purchase items from our shop in Pevensey Bay.

  • We aim to keep availability for voucher holders, but can’t prioritise them over a new booking.

  • We cannot offer a refund on any vouchers purchased or expired.

  • We request cancellations no later than three days before a session. Cancellations received after this will be treated as per general booking ts & cs.

Online Orders:

  • Select the products you wish to purchase by pressing on the buy button.

  • At any time, you can check the contents of your shopping cart by going to the top of the screen and clicking on cart.

  • When you have selected all of the goods you wish to buy, you'll go into the secure online shopping section.

  • This is where you'll give your personal details and credit/debit card information.

  • All items which are returned for refunds or exchanges must be sent to Be-Rad Watersports, The Old Bank, Wallsend House, Richmond Road, Pevensey Bay, East Sussex, BN24 6AU. Items must be returned within 30 days in a new and unused condition, with the original packaging intact. This should be accompanied with the receipt/order form (Included in the original delivery).

  • Goods will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges should they be used, damaged or in unacceptable condition. 

  • In the unlikely event that any of the goods we have supplied you are faulty, we will handle this with the necessary brand and where possible get you a replacement product.

  • After 30 days, you can’t demand a full refund, but you still have the right to a repair or replacement.

  • We do not offer refunds for shipping costs on purchases and we strongly recommend that you use a recorded/insured delivery service when returning goods as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

Holiday Clinics:
  • To reserve a space on one of our holiday clinics, customers must pay the £500 non refundable deposit. This deposit secures the customers spot in the clinic. The deposit is non refundable regardless of injury, illness, or any other personal matter.

  • Should a customer wish to cancel their booking, we will endeavour to find a replacement customer to fill the space.

  • If a replacement customer can be found, we will issue a full refund.

  • If a replacement customer cannot be found, the £500 deposit will not be refunded.

  • All customer joining our holiday clinics are advised to purchase the necessary watersports and travel insurance. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have the correct cover for the sports to be participated in.

  • Watersports are weather dependent sports and Be-Rad Watersports cannot be held accountable for unfavourable conditions.

  • Should the conditions be unsuitable for the intended sport, i.e. not enough wind, too much wind, or unforeseen weather/travel issues while on a holiday clinic. Be-Rad Watersports accepts no responsibility for weather conditions and will therefore not issue any refunds for these reasons.
